Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Simpll ("Simpll", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, our PowerPoint add-in, and related services (together, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and password (stored securely, hashed, by our authentication provider) when you create an account.
- Profile information: your name and country, if you or an administrator adds them to your account.
- Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card details — we only receive confirmation of payment and a subscription reference.
- Usage information: basic activity such as sign-in times and license/trial status, used to operate the Service.
- Support communications: information you provide when you contact us, such as through our contact form.
2. How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and license entitlements.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions, trials, and renewals.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To send essential account and billing communications (such as license keys or trial reminders).
- To detect, investigate, and prevent misuse of the Service.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Razorpay, our payment processor, to process subscription payments and refunds.
- Supabase, our authentication and database infrastructure provider, which stores your account and entitlement data on our behalf.
- Law enforcement or regulators, only where required by applicable law.
4. Data security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted storage of license keys and role-based access controls restricting who at Simpll can view account data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data retention
We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@simpll.io.
7. Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies required for sign-in and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated by email or through the Service.
